Origins: Central America
Size: three to three and one half inches.
Diet: prepared foods and small live foods.
Water: temperature at seventy three to eighty one degrees F; hard (one hundred to one hundred and fifty mg/l) and alkaline pH = seven point five.
Temperament: active and placid, good community fish.
Breeding: easy to breed livebearer. Up to three hundred offspring. Offspring should be separated from adults as they will be eaten. If a pure line is desired, they should not be mixed with other lines of Mollies as they will interbreed. Cessation period thirty to fourty days.
Gender: females are typically larger than males and coloring is usually, not as intense.
